Bernhard Ganglmair is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim. On the board of the Mannheim Centre for Competition and Innovation (MaCCI) and head of the ‘Competition and Innovation’ Junior Research Group at ZEW Mannheim, Ganglmair completed his PhD at the University of Zurich in 2011. He previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Managerial Economics at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research interests include technology standards/standardization and patents, trade secrets and the economic analysis of law. Ganglmair’s research has been published in the RAND Journal of Economics, the Journal of Law and Economics and the Journal of Industrial Economics, among others.
